Professional clarity for traders—without becoming your broker
FXcompare is a layer on top of data you already have permission to access. We don't onboard client funds, set spreads, or route orders.
Read-only by design
Positions and history are displayed from API responses. We never send orders or modify exposure.
Broker API, not ours
You supply the REST/API endpoint, login, password, and server name—the same pattern as MT5 ConnectEx.
Live-style overview
Balance, equity, margin, floating P&L, and open trades refresh for a terminal-like snapshot.
Charts & calendar
Symbol charts, daily P&L heatmaps, and deal history help you review performance calmly.
Chart workspace
Pick a symbol, time frame, and optional overlays after you connect — all read-only on your API data.
Calendar & history
Daily P&L heatmaps, closed deals, and open positions sit in the same dashboard session.
In the platform
Chart analysis you can actually run here
After MT5 is linked, open the Chart section in the dashboard. Everything below is read-only visualization on API data — not trade buttons.
- ✓Candlesticks. OHLC candles pulled for your chosen symbol; intraday, daily, or monthly views.
- ✓Time frames. Presets from 1m through 4H on intraday, plus daily and monthly histories when your API allows.
- ✓Moving averages. Toggle SMA 20, SMA 50, and EMA 20 over price for quick context.
- ✓Market structure. Optional swing markers and dashed support / resistance-style guides from fractal logic on continuous bars.
- ✓Session & crosshair. Compress session gaps when you want a tighter axis; crosshair readout for time / OHLC at the cursor.
- ✓Beyond the chart. Overview balances and equity, a daily P&L calendar heatmap, and deal / position lists — same session.
Access your analytics in a few steps
No deposits through FXcompare, no new trading account—just log in here, then connect the API profile you already use with your broker.
- 01
Login
Create an FXcompare account (username, email, password) — MT5 details are added only in the dashboard.
- 02
Connect MT5
In Account, enter API URL, login, password, and server name exactly as in MT5 → Login to Trade Account.
- 03
Validate session
We check the session and load overview, calendar, trades, and charts you are allowed to see.
- 04
Review only
Explore data read-only. Place or manage trades only in your broker’s platform—never here.
P&L calendar
Closed trades roll up by day for heatmaps and period views—mirrors how you reconcile in the terminal.
Plan your review before the next session
Most traders reconcile performance across the terminal and third-party journals. FXcompare gives you a clean overlay: technical charts for symbols you care about, a calendar of closed P&L by day, and exportable history—all derived from the stream your API returns.
See also: chart tools & analysis available in the dashboard.
- Aggregate closed trades by calendar day for heatmaps.
- Roll net P&L into bar views that match your mental model of the week.
- Refresh open positions so floating P&L stays comparable to MT5.
- If the broker omits history, the UI will reflect that—cross-check in terminal when unsure.
Under the hood
After you connect, we call your API for account details and deal / order history the provider exposes. Saved MT5 connections belong to your FXcompare login only—other users cannot see them.
Important: FXcompare does not provide brokerage or trading services
We are not a broker or market maker. You cannot open a live or demo trading account with us, deposit funds, receive leverage, or execute orders on this site. All trading is done exclusively with your licensed broker under their terms. This application is for read-only analytics on data your broker's API returns. Nothing here is investment advice.
